Your journey into the skies above will be on the whim of the wind as Mother Nature carries you out across the vast expanse of Michigan and the awesome Great Lakes. Soar high above the clouds and gasp in awe at the breath-taking scenery below. From the dense forests and rolling plains, to the busy cities and pretty lakeside towns, the magnificent views are ever changing with the seasons.
This is indeed a flight into the fantastic, and on landing all fliers are given a commemorative pin in the shape of the balloon they've flown in. And of course there's the traditional balloon fliers toast of chilled champagne - there's sparkling juice too!
Can you think of a better way than viewing the wide open expanses of Michigan and the Great Lakes than aboard a fabulous hot air balloon? The whole adventure will be one you will remember for a lifetime. Flying experiences do not get better than this!
Hot air balloon flights are available for passengers aged 5 and over. Passengers should be able to grip the side of the basket and flex knees on landing. Pregnant women are not allowed to fly
Arrival & Check-In
Meet your flight crew at the designated meeting point behind Red Knapp’s in Oxford, Michigan. Check in and meet your pilot and fellow passengers.
Pre-Flight Preparation
Participate in a short orientation covering safety information and flight expectations. Watch as your balloon is inflated and prepared for launch.
Flight Time
Take to the skies for approximately 45–60 minutes of peaceful flight, soaking in panoramic views of Michigan’s countryside, lakes, and forests. Morning and evening flights are available to capture the best light and calmest winds.
Landing & Recovery
Upon landing, the chase crew will meet you for transport back to the meeting point. Friends and family are welcome to follow along in their own vehicles to capture the adventure from the ground.
Champagne Celebration & Souvenir
Conclude your adventure with a traditional champagne toast (or sparkling juice) and receive a keepsake souvenir pin as a memento of your flight.
