ARRIVAL & INTRODUCTIONS
Arrive at the airport check-in area a few minutes before your scheduled time. Meet your FAA-certified instructor and get a rundown of what to expect during your experience.
SAFETY BRIEFING & GEAR SETUP
Begin with a ground briefing on helicopter safety, flight procedures, and communication protocols. You’ll be fitted with aviation headsets and introduced to the aircraft’s control system.
PRE-FLIGHT WALKAROUND
Join your instructor for a guided inspection of the helicopter. Learn about the major components, control inputs, and how each part contributes to flight readiness.
TAKEOFF & INSTRUCTION
Once the engine starts, your experience officially begins. Your instructor will handle takeoff, and then guide you through basic flying techniques while in the air.
FLIGHT CONTROL EXPERIENCE
Take the controls mid-flight and perform gentle maneuvers under expert supervision. Hovering, turning, and forward motion are all within your grasp as you experience the joy of real helicopter flight.
POST-FLIGHT DEBRIEF
After landing, enjoy a final discussion with your instructor covering what you learned and how this flight can count toward future pilot training, if desired.
