Experience the joys of flying a light aircraft with one of Chicago's leading flight schools as you enjoy an outstanding 90 minute extended flying lesson that puts you in control. You'll be guided every step of the way by an experienced and knowledgeable FAA certified instructor, who will show you everything from pre-flight checks to the effects of control.
In this extended flying lesson, you'll be totally immersed in the world of flying as you are asked to do everything a real pilot does. From the pre-flight taxi down the runway to take off, in flight maneuvers to speaking with the control tower, you'll be living the pilot's dream.
This is the ideal way to introduce yourself to flying. But be warned, it's 100 percent addictive!
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Meet your FAA Certified Flight Instructor on arrival.
PRE-FLIGHT TRAINING
Spend time learning about pre and post flight checks as well as the effects of control.
TAXI & TAKEOFF
You control the aircraft as you taxi down the runway and take off.
IN-FLIGHT PROCEDURES
Carry out in-flight maneuvers procedures including talking to the control tower.
FLIGHT EXPERIENCE
90 minute flight with you at the control.
POST-FLIGHT CHECKS
Post flight checks carried out on landing.
Throughout your lesson, your instructor will guide you all the way. You will be told how to perform each maneuver as required, however it will be your hands on the controls! Every lesson is tailored to your requirements and skill level.
Flight Duration & Schedule
• 90-minute flight experience with full hands-on control

Aircraft & Instructor
• Flights conducted in a Cessna C-150 Commuter
• Option to upgrade to a larger Cessna 172 for an additional $50
• One-on-one training with an FAA Certified Flight Instructor
• Tailored lesson based on your skill level and comfort
Age & Height Requirements
• Minimum age: 12 years old
• Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent
• Minimum height: 4’10”
• Upgrade required if student is over 6 feet tall or 200 pounds

• Valid photo ID
• Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes
• Sunglasses recommended
• Printed or digital flight voucher (if purchased as a gift)
