You’ll discover the essential elements of the sport such as handling the rod, choosing and assembling tackle, casting, as well as the art of fly-fishing itself. Practical instruction takes place on a special training pond where you will put your learning into practice under the guidance of passionate, dedicated guides.
Whether you’re an experienced angler or complete novice, this unforgettable introduction to fly fishing is the perfect way to recharge the batteries and discover new skills along the way.
All classes include a hand book and use of rods. A variety of rods are available for use on the day. Only modern graphite rods and the latest equipment are used to ensure you receive the best instruction possible on the day.
ARRIVAL & INTRODUCTIONS
Arrive at the training facility ready for an engaging day outdoors. You’ll meet your instructors and fellow anglers before diving into the basics of the day’s schedule.
CLASSROOM THEORY SESSION
Start with an informative indoor session covering essential techniques and terminology. Learn about the types of rods, reels, fly lines, and tackle, as well as knot tying, safety, and environmental awareness.
GEAR UP & GET HANDS-ON
Try out a variety of high-quality graphite rods and get comfortable with your gear. Your instructors will guide you through assembling equipment and preparing for casting.
CASTING PRACTICE & TECHNIQUE DEVELOPMENT
Head to the custom-built casting pond where you’ll practice different techniques under expert guidance. Whether you're perfecting your loop or learning how to deliver a fly with precision, this is where your skills come alive.
LUNCH BREAK
Midway through the day, enjoy a relaxed lunch included in your package, giving you time to recharge and share experiences with your group.
FLY FISHING ON THE POND
Apply everything you've learned with practical fly-fishing time on the pond. Your instructors will continue offering tips and one-on-one support to help you improve and enjoy every moment.
WRAP-UP & CERTIFICATE
End the day with a recap of key takeaways and personal feedback. You'll receive a class handbook and leave with new skills, confidence, and maybe even a fish tale to tell.
