Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Open to all ages.
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 240 lbs per person
- Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.

Additional Notes

Children: Kids are welcome as long as they meet the minimum height requirement of 5’1”.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, including ground instruction and flight time
Flight Lesson Includes: Pre-flight briefing, hands-on flight experience, and post-flight debriefing
Who’s Onboard: Only participants and the FAA-certified instructor will be in the plane
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area
Photos/Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera and capture your experience

Important Info to Know

Weather: This experience depends on safe flying conditions. If the weather isn’t suitable, your pilot will cancel and reschedule. Safety is always the top priority
Arrival Time: Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time
Location/Parking: Parking is available at Buffalo Niagara International Airport
What to Wear: Dress for the weather—light clothing for summer, warm layers for winter. Sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended for sunny days
What to Bring: Bring your photo ID, a camera, and sunglasses
Gratuity: Tips for your pilot are not included in the cost of the experience
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location
