Experience the thrill of aviation as you take control of a real aircraft and fly over the beautiful Cincinnati skyline. This hands-on introductory flight gives you the opportunity to pilot a small aircraft under the supervision of an experienced FAA-certified flight instructor.

Your adventure begins with a pre-flight briefing, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of aircraft controls and flight maneuvers. Once in the cockpit, you’ll assist with takeoff and navigate the skies, practicing turns, climbs, and descents while enjoying breathtaking aerial views of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati. With guidance from your instructor, you'll experience the true excitement of being in command of an aircraft.

Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: The minimum age for a flight lesson is 15 years old.
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 300 lbs per person
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.

Additional Notes

Children: Participants must be at least 15 years old.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 60 minutes, including both ground instruction and flight time.
Flight Lesson Includes: Pre-flight instruction, 36 minutes in the aircraft, and hands-on flying experience.
Who’s Onboard: Only participants and the FAA-certified instructor will be in the plane.
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area.
Photos/Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera and capture your experience.

Weather: This experience depends on safe flying conditions. If the weather isn’t suitable, your pilot will cancel and reschedule. Safety is always the top priority.
Arrival Time: Please arrive at your scheduled time.
Location/Parking: Parking is available at Lunken Airport, where the experience takes place.
What to Wear: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sunglasses are recommended.
What to Bring:
- A valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID (required)
- A camera to capture the experience
Gratuity: Tips for your pilot are not included in the cost of the experience.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
