Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Minimum age of 16
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 240 lbs per person
- Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.
Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen
Medical Requirements: Must be eligible for a 3rd Class Medical Certificate

Additional Notes:

This offer is available to San Diego County residents only
Passengers are not permitted on introductory flights
Flights must be completed on two separate days
A three-hour orientation class is required before scheduling flights
A photo ID and either a Birth Certificate, Passport, or Green Card must be presented before scheduling
No refunds for unused portions of flight time
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 4 hours, including ground instruction and flight time
Flight Lesson Includes: A combination of pre-flight instruction and in-air flight training

What to Wear: Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are required
What to Bring: A valid photo ID, sunglasses, and a camera
Refunds: No refunds for any unused portion of flight time
Scheduling Notice: Flight schedules are subject to change based on weather, aircraft availability, and other factors
