Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Open to all ages.
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 240 lbs per person
- Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.

Additional Notes

Children: Kids are welcome as long as they meet the minimum height requirement of 5’1”.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, including both ground instruction and flight time.
Flight Lesson Includes: A pre-flight briefing, a 30-minute hands-on flight, and a post-flight debriefing.
Who’s Onboard: Only participants and the flight instructor will be in the plane.
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area.
Photos/Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera and capture moments of your experience.

Weather: This experience depends on safe flying conditions. If the weather isn’t suitable, your pilot will cancel and reschedule. Safety is always the top priority.
Arrival Time: Please arrive at your scheduled time.
Location/Parking: Parking is available at Glendale Municipal Airport, where the experience takes place.
What to Wear: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sunglasses are recommended.
What to Bring: Bring your photo ID, a camera, and sunglasses.
Gratuity: Tips for your pilot are not included in the cost of the experience.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
