Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Open to all ages. Minors must have a parent or guardian present.
Height: Participants must be between 5’0” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 240 lbs per person
- Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft unassisted.

Additional Notes

Children: Must meet the minimum height requirement to participate.
Pets: Not permitted in the aircraft.
Accessibility: Aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, including ground instruction and flight time.
Flight Lesson Includes: Pre-flight briefing, hands-on flight experience, and post-flight debriefing.
Who’s Onboard: Just you and the FAA-certified instructor.
Spectators: Family and friends can watch from the designated viewing area.
Photos/Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera to capture the experience.

Weather: Flights are subject to weather conditions. If conditions aren’t suitable, your flight will be rescheduled.
Arrival Time: Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled flight.
Location/Parking: Parking is available at Kearney Regional Airport.
What to Wear: Comfortable clothing suitable for the weather. Closed-toe shoes required. Sunglasses recommended.
What to Bring: Valid photo ID, camera, and enthusiasm for flying!
Gratuity: Tips for your flight instructor are not included but appreciated.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
