Overview

Soar above Virginia’s stunning landscapes as you take control of a real aircraft during this hands-on flying experience. This introductory flight lesson at Leesburg Executive Airport (KJYO) gives you a firsthand look at what it’s like to be a pilot.

Your adventure begins with a pre-flight briefing, where an experienced FAA-certified flight instructor will walk you through the aircraft’s controls and basic flight principles. Then, step into the cockpit, put on your headset, and get ready for takeoff. During the flight, you’ll have the chance to handle the controls and maneuver the aircraft under the guidance of your instructor.

Whether you're considering flight training or just want an unforgettable experience, this discovery flight is the perfect way to explore the world of aviation. Plus, you’ll receive a First Flight Certificate to commemorate the day!
