Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Participants must be at least 16 years old to take part in the flight lesson. Must be 18 or older to purchase.
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual weight limit: 240 lbs per person
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.

Additional Notes

Children: Kids are welcome as long as they meet the minimum height requirement of 5’1”.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately 1.5 hours, including both ground instruction and flight time.
Flight Lesson Includes: A pre-flight briefing, 30-minute flight lesson, and post-flight debrief.
Who’s Onboard: Only the participant and an FAA-certified flight instructor will be in the aircraft.
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area.
Photos/Videos: You are welcome to bring a camera and take photos of your experience.

Weather: The flight is subject to safe flying conditions. If the weather is unsuitable, the flight will be rescheduled.
Arrival Time: Please arrive at your scheduled time.
Location/Parking: The experience takes place at Northeast Philadelphia Airport, 9800 Ashton Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19114. Parking is available at the location.
What to Wear: Dress comfortably for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are required. Sunglasses are recommended.
What to Bring: Bring your photo ID, camera, and sunglasses.
Gratuity: Tips for your instructor are not included in the cost of the experience.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
