Your journey begins at Reid-Hillview Airport, where a certified flight instructor will guide you through a pre-flight briefing. You'll learn about aircraft controls, flight safety, and how to conduct a pre-flight inspection. Once you're familiar with the basics, you’ll climb into the cockpit of a Cessna 172, one of the most popular training aircraft in the world.

After takeoff, you'll have the opportunity to take the controls and maneuver the plane under expert supervision. Experience the thrill of flying as you glide over Silicon Valley, enjoying breathtaking views of the Bay Area. Participation Guidelines

Who Can Take Part?

Age: Open to all ages.
Height: Participants must be between 5’1” and 6’5” tall.
Weight Limits:
- Individual limit: 240 lbs per person
- Flying with a friend? Combined weight cannot exceed 370 lbs
Physical Ability: Participants must be able to enter and exit the aircraft without assistance and take part in the flight lesson.

Additional Notes

Children: Kids are welcome as long as they meet the minimum height requirement of 5’1”.
Pets: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed during the experience.
Accessibility: The aircraft is not wheelchair accessible.

Experience Overview

What Happens on the Day?

Total Duration: Approximately two hours, including one hour of ground instruction and one hour of flight time.
Flight Lesson Includes: Pre-flight briefing, hands-on flight experience, and post-flight discussion.
Who’s Onboard: Only participants and the FAA-certified instructor will be in the plane. A guest may be allowed, subject to weight limitations.
Spectators: Friends and family are welcome to watch from the designated viewing area.
Photos/Videos: You’re welcome to bring a camera and capture your experience.

Weather: This experience depends on safe flying conditions. If the weather isn’t suitable, your pilot will cancel and reschedule. Safety is always the top priority.
Arrival Time: Please arrive at your scheduled time.
Location/Parking: Free parking is available at AeroDynamic Aviation, located at Reid-Hillview Airport.
What to Wear: Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes. Closed-toe shoes are required, and sunglasses are recommended.
What to Bring: Bring your photo ID, a camera, and sunglasses.
Gratuity: Tips for your pilot are not included in the cost of the experience.
Restrooms: Facilities are available at the check-in location.
