This Mixed Aerial Arts Class in East Meadow, NY, offers a dynamic, open-level session where you’ll build strength, flexibility, and confidence while learning the fundamentals of aerial movement. Whether you’re a beginner curious to try something new or someone looking to expand your aerial skills, this class provides a supportive and fun environment to explore a variety of apparatus.

Each week offers the opportunity to rotate between different aerial disciplines, including silks, lyra (aerial hoop), dance trapeze, and fly pole. Expect a challenging but rewarding workout as you develop body awareness, coordination, and fluidity in the air.

Check-In & Warm-Up
Arrive a few minutes early to meet your instructor and prepare for class. You’ll start with a guided warm-up to activate your muscles and prevent injury.

Skill Introduction & Practice
Your instructor will introduce the apparatus for the day, demonstrate techniques, and guide you through exercises to build strength, balance, and control. You’ll work on various poses, transitions, and movements — all adapted to your individual level.

Cool Down & Wrap-Up
The class will end with stretching and cool-down exercises to help your body recover and maintain flexibility. Instructors are available to answer questions or recommend next steps for your aerial journey.

What to Bring:

  • Activewear: Form-fitting clothing that covers the backs of the knees and arms (no zippers)
  • Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout your workout
  • Grip Aids: Optional, but recommended if you’re prone to sweaty hands

Participant Requirements:

  • Open to ages 16 and up
  • No prior aerial experience required
  • The waiver must be signed before participating

Health & Safety:

  • Not recommended for those with recent injuries or certain medical conditions (consult your doctor if unsure)
  • Instructors will adapt movements to suit your experience and ability
  • Proper warm-up and cool-down provided to support safe training

Weather Policy:

  • Classes are held outdoors at Eisenhower Park; in the event of rain or poor weather, staff will notify participants about rescheduling

Cancellation Policy:

  • 48+ hours notice: eligible for reschedule or credit
  • Less than 48 hours: non-refundable
  • Classes may be rescheduled once per booking

This experience does not have a physical location and can be attended online.
