With Chef Sarah’s warm, down-to-earth guidance, you’ll go beyond takeout and learn the simple, satisfying techniques behind miso soup, sushi rolls, and a few unexpected twists.

The menu starts light and flavorful: miso soup simmered with tofu and shiitakes and a crisp edamame salad tossed with pickled ginger, avocado, and almonds. Then it’s roll time. You’ll build a classic California roll, then turn up the heat with a spicy shrimp roll that packs a punch. Along the way, you’ll learn how to handle sticky rice, layer ingredients like a pro, and laugh at your first wobbly attempt—because perfection isn’t the point. Fun is.
