Known for their placid temperament, these beautiful, ethereal fish are definitely not whales - they are the the world's largest filter feeding sharks. You'll be transfixed by their languid, rhythmic movement and the unique patterns formed by their polka dot, luminescent markings.
The experience of gliding through the water with fish that are almost 40 feet long is totally unforgettable and Georgia Aquarium is the only place in the world where you're guaranteed to encounter them!. You'll also discover literally dozens of other amazing species including manta rays, goliath groupers and much, much more!
Journey with Gentle Giants is the only opportunity in the world where you are guaranteed to swim with whale sharks, the largest fish in the world, in Georgia Aquarium's Ocean Voyager exhibit built by The Home Depot. Guests will swim at the surface with a floatation device and air supplied by either a small compressed air cylinder or a snorkel. The following equipment is provided: mask and snorkel, gloves, booties, wetsuit, floatation device and compressed air cylinder. Personal masks are permitted. Wetsuits and equipment are available for customers between 45 and 320 lbs.
The program fee is non-refundable; however, a date may be changed free of charge if the change is made at least 14 days before the original date of your visit.
Dates changed less than 14 days prior to the original date of your visit will be charged $50 per ticket. To change your reservation, please contact Georgia Aquarium’s Call Center at (404) 581-4000.
Cancellations and no-shows will not be refunded or rescheduled.
