Get ready for a thrilling 1-day adventure on the legendary Tuolumne River, just outside Yosemite National Park. This 18-mile stretch offers high-adrenaline Class IV whitewater, breathtaking canyon scenery, and a remote wilderness experience that’s perfect for paddlers with a sense of adventure.

While our usual access road remains closed through 2025 due to storm damage, guests now begin with a 2.5-mile scenic hike down to the river. It’s a moderate 40-minute walk—well worth it for the spectacular ride that follows. Quality footwear and hydration are essential, and you'll be able to swap shoes before getting in the raft.

After an epic day on the water, your journey ends with a peaceful tow across Don Pedro Reservoir and a return shuttle to your vehicle. It’s a full, rewarding day of whitewater, wild landscapes, and unforgettable memories. All gear, lunch, and shuttle service are included—just bring your adventurous spirit.

Arrival and Flight Details
Meet at our designated Groveland location (confirmed after booking), where you’ll check in and meet your guides. The adventure begins with a 45-minute shuttle ride to the remote river trailhead.

Check-In and Orientation
After a safety briefing and gear fitting, you’ll hike approximately 2.5 miles downhill (40 minutes) into the Tuolumne River canyon. Once at the water, you'll receive paddle instruction and finalize raft assignments.

Gear Up and Warm-Up Runs
Strap on helmets and life jackets as your guides lead you through a few warm-up rapids. You’ll get a feel for teamwork on the river before the intensity ramps up.

The Adventure Course
Paddle through nonstop Class IV whitewater all day, with a break around midday for a hearty riverside lunch. After lunch, tackle more thrilling rapids, culminating in a float toward Don Pedro Reservoir.

Wrap Up and Cool Down
At the trip’s end, board a raft to tow across the reservoir, followed by a shuttle back to Groveland. Expect to return to your vehicle around 6:00 PM, ready to dry off and relax.
