Itinerary
Meeting Time
8:30 AM – Meet your guides at the launch point near the White Salmon River, just outside of Portland.
Safety Briefing
Certified river guides will provide an essential safety overview, covering paddling techniques and how to navigate Class III–IV rapids safely.
Gear Check
Get fitted with all required safety gear, including helmet, wetsuit, paddle, and personal flotation device (PFD).
Half-Day Whitewater Adventure
Embark on an 8-mile ride through narrow lava canyons and thrilling rapids, surrounded by lush Pacific Northwest scenery.
Wrap-Up
Return to base by around 12:30 PM, with time to change, grab photos, and relive your whitewater memories.
This experience takes place between April and September each year.

Half-day adventure covering approximately 8 miles of Class III–IV rapids on the White Salmon River.
