Itinerary
Meeting Time
8:00 AM – Arrive at the designated meeting point near the Wind River in the Columbia River Gorge area for check-in and introductions.
Safety Briefing
Expert Class V-certified guides will deliver a comprehensive safety orientation, including advanced paddling commands and rapid navigation techniques for Class IV–V rapids.
Gear Check
Suit up with a helmet, wetsuit, PFD, and paddle. Guides will ensure all equipment fits securely and meets safety standards.
Full-Day Rafting Expedition
Launch into 11 miles of powerful, non-stop rapids through steep ledge drops and narrow boulder gardens. Experience dramatic scenery, hidden waterfalls, and wildlife along the canyon walls. Expect rock scrambling and rapid scouting at key points like Ram’s Horn and Climax Falls.
Lunch Break
Stop mid-river for a scenic, riverside lunch and rest before continuing the thrilling descent.
Wrap-Up
Conclude your whitewater journey by approximately 3:00 PM. Return gear, change clothes, and enjoy time for photos and reflection with your crew.
