Cycle along quiet rural roads against the backdrop drop of scenic hills and valleys as you savor the region's award winning wines in breathtaking natural surroundings. Dry Creek Valley is famous for its spicy red wines and crisp white wines, in particular the Zinfandel varietal and you'll enjoy an unforgettable voyage of discovery showcasing the very best of the area in the company of a knowledgable guide,

Your day starts in downtown Healdsburg where you'll be fitted with your Marin hybrid bike and comfortable gel-seat.  After a short briefing session, covering the ‚ÄúRules of the Road‚Äù, you'll be gliding down picturesque country roads, drinking in the emerald green beauty of the grape vines and olive trees. After tasting several local varietals, you'll enjoy a gourmet picnic lunch at one of the most picturesque vineyards in the area before rounding off your day with a selection of great-tasting wine stops.

This incredible half day adventure includes hybrid bike and helmet rental, unlimited water, Wine Country picnic lunch, and professional local guides. Tasting fees are not included. Wineries visited on each tour may change on a seasonal basis, however usually included are: Everett Ridge, Lambert Bridge, Michael Bernard, Quivira, Michel Schlumberger, Preston, Bella, Raymond Burr, Rued, and Kokomo, among others.

You’ll meet at 10:00 am in downtown Healdsburg for a bike fitting and a brief safety talk before you set out on your scenic adventure. From there, you’ll head to the beautiful Dry Creek Valley, where your knowledgeable guide will share fascinating facts about the wines of the region, the history of the area, and the process of grape growing and wine production.

As you cycle down picturesque lanes, you’ll visit small, family-owned wineries where you'll have the chance to taste the Zinfandel the valley is famous for, and experience something unique, like tasting wine directly from the barrel or exploring a genuine wine cave. The route is moderately hilly, taking you through the rolling hills of this lush valley.

At midday, you’ll enjoy a Wine Country picnic lunch at one of the scenic winery stops. Afterward, you’ll visit one or two more wineries, often stopping at organic, biodynamic, and sustainable wineries with vegetable and herb gardens on the property. After your final winery stop, you’ll return to Healdsburg where any wine purchases made during the day will be delivered back to your car.
